Welcome to my new blog. Since I was dubbed the official count down reminder for Christmas and New Years I thought I would do a series of blogs titled TODAY. We live so much in the past and worry so much about the future that we forget to live in the present and yet this is where God wants us to live. So over the next few weeks I will do my best to remind you to live in the present.

Yesterdays Face Book post was a reminder from the verse in Psalm 118:24 which says: This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Today's reminder is from Luke 19:5 which says: When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today."

God is not waiting for us to get to heaven so that he can enjoy a relationship with us "then" - he wants to do life with us "now" - TODAY!
